Rudradhari falls and Temple: The beauty that can hardly be compared

The Rudradhari waterfall is a natural location with lush green rice fields where water flows on a vertical drop in the course of the river. The fall and temple site is located with terraced fields, thick pine forests and green rice fields due to both falls and the temple, look very beautiful and thus attracts a large number of visitors.The falls that hinder the valley flow from rivers and small sales. Puranic stories relate to this place with Lord Shiva (Rudra) and Lord Vishnu (Hari). The caves are natural and magnificent in look. The Shiva Temple is located in Someshwar, close to the waterfalls.

Visitors can only access this place through excursions. As it is located on Kasauni road to Almora, one can come to the village of Kantali in any vehicles, and from there, visitors have a 2 km journey to get to this place. One can complete the trip in around 2 hours. The best time to visit Rudradhari falls and temple is from May to September and December. One can observe nature at its best and close quarters during the daytime during January. The falls exuberate their ultimate beauty during the months of July and August after the season of monsoon.
